We've done extensive research and testing on our candles in order to bring you the best possible product. We made the decision to go with soy wax for our container candles, glass votives, and wax tarts, as it offers the best scent throw possible, and offers so many benefits.

Just a few of the benefits of soy are:

• Soy Wax burns 30% to 50% longer than paraffin
• Soy wax is biodegradable
• Burning soy wax candles helps support the American farmer
• Little or no soot is produced from burning soy wax
• No carcinogens are produced from burning soy wax
• Soy wax is non-toxic
• Animal fat is not an ingredient of soy wax

We would like to add that each candle may vary slightly in appearance. Some fragrances and colors will produce a creamy looking candle, while others may produce a white "frosting" effect to them. The frosting is a natural characteristic of soy wax and should not be considered a flaw.
